CNIB

Celebrating 100 years in 2018, the CNIB Foundation is a non-profit organization driven to change what it is to be blind today.

We deliver innovative programs and powerful advocacy that empower people impacted by blindness to live their dreams and tear down barriers to inclusion. Our work as a blind foundation is powered by a network of volunteers, donors and partners from coast to coast to coast.

The CNIB Foundation, Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada and CNIB Deafblind Community Services make up the CNIB Group.

Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada

Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada is a health services organization. We provide training that enables people who are blind or partially sighted to develop or restore key daily living skills, helping enhance their independence, safety and mobility. Our certified specialists work closely with ophthalmologists, optometrists and other health care professionals, providing essential care on a referral basis in homes and communities across Canada.

Deafblind Community Services

CNIB Deafblind Community Services is one of Ontario’s leading providers of specialized support and emergency services for people who are Deafblind. Funded by the Government of Ontario, our intervenor services and literacy programs enable people who are Deafblind to maximize their independence and engagement with the world around them.

CNIB Frontier Accessibility

Frontier Accessibility is a CNIB Social Enterprise supporting businesses and organizations to ensure that all Canadians with disabilities can benefit from barrier-free communities and workplaces so everyone can participate fully and equally.
